Fractionated Coconut Oil

Details: Fractionated Coconut Oil by Invivo Essential is a fraction of the full spectrum of the natural oil.  The refining process leaves behind 100% saturated oil loaded with beneficial medium chain triglycerides, which are a unique form of dietary fat that impart a wide range of positive health benefits.

It is an excellent moisturizer for the skin and scalp, without leaving skin feeling greasy.  Skin feels moisturized, soft and soothe.  It is the perfect way to extend more expensive essential oils as a carrier oil.  It is also used for diluting perfume oils for aromatherapy.  Used right out of the bottle, it is the best massage oil for all types of massage techniques.

My Review:  My daughter and daughter-in-law use essential oils and have introduced them to me. I'm now getting hooked on them and trying to learn all I can.  My daughter-in-law has mentioned how she likes using Fractionated Coconut Oil as her carrier oil of choice to blend with her EO's. Now I fully understand why.

Fractionated coconut oil is a clear odorless oil.  It blends extremely well with essential oils.  I like it better than using olive oil, just because there is no color nor odor.

I  make my own re-mineralization toothpaste.  I've used sunflower oil in the past, but not as happy with it as I would like.  I believe it helps yellow the teeth.  The Fractionated Coconut Oil by Invivo Essential is colorless so won't yellow teeth.  With the recipe I use, this oil helps give the toothpaste a smoother softer consistency.

I also make my own facial cleanser and have added Fractionated Coconut Oil to it as well.  It is easily absorbed into the skin, therefore moisturizing skin without leaving it feeling greasy.  I've applied it straight onto my face, as well as mixing it with other moisturizers.  I prefer mixing it with other moisturizers, but both are great.  My skin feels softer after using the coconut oil.

Fractionated coconut oil is great for massages, blending with essential oils and used in aromatherapy. It is great for skin and hair.  I did apply a very small amount to my hair, and the shine was beautiful without my hair looking greasy.

Pros: Love the fact that this won't go rancid like other carrier oils.  It is clear it is odorless.  Blends well with everything I've tried it in.

Cons: Nothing.
