Anti-Aging Cream with Growth Factor

Review:  First off when I opened the box I was so impressed by the round ball container that reminded me of a beautiful Christmas ornament.  I love blue, and this is so pretty.  If the container is beautiful, just imagine the ingredients.  There are several I've not heard of before but after researching them, they will do wonders for anyone's skin.  There are others that are nice standards such as Ginseng Extract, Licorice Extract,  Hydroxyproline, Vitamin E Acetate, Retinol A, Olive Squalane, Glycerin and Emu Oil.

The cream is just that....nice and creamy.  It feels rich and smooth.  My skin feels like it instantly drinks up the cream when applied.  And, you need just a small amount.  When you apply you do so in upward circular motions to help stimulate your skin and get the cream where it needs to be.

They suggest after applying, wait five minutes and follow up with Anti-imperfection Eye Therapy with Growth Factor.  Would have been nice if they had included that as well to see the total benefit.


Overall, this has been one of the top anti-aging creams I have used on my face to date.  After 1 day I felt my face felt better.  After a week it feels really soft and silky, and I have noticed a difference in how my skin looks--tighter--firmer--a few less wrinkles.  Can't wait to finish the product and see how my face looks then.

If you know of someone who is stressing over there lack of great anti-aging products, be sure to get this for them as a wonderful Christmas gift.

Pros:  Very rich and creamy feeling on skin.  Noticeable difference in just one day.

Cons:  Has a strong smell that I particularly do not like.  Don't know if it is the emu oil, or the scent of rose. This is pricey, but most anti-aging products are.

A Creek Indian Story About The Great Flood

Details:  The Otter, The Spotted Frog, & The Great Flood by Gerald Hausman, is a Creek Indian Story.  It is one of many traditional stories told throughout the world.  "In all of these stories, the progress is from a lower world to a higher one.  In the upper world, there is light, and the possibility for greater and more abundant life."

Review:  This story is about The Spotted Frog who sings and prophecies that a great flood is coming.  Out of all the animal people, The Otter is the only one who listened.  The Otter is the only who prepared for the flood.  All the other animal people laughed and scorned The Otter, but they did not survive The Great Flood in the end.

After the waters receded, The Otter now has a new wife, a mosquito.  The Mosquito then becomes a fish.  The fish eventually becomes a two-legged, along with The Otter.  And according to this tale, that is how the two-legged people were born into this world.

Pros:  Thought this was nicely written, and beautifully illustrated.  I think kids would enjoy this story.

Cons:  Even though this is a Creek Indian Story, still have a hard time with the way the first man and woman came to be in this world.

Great Kids Book to Dispel Bedtime Fears

Details:  Monster's Guide to Bedtime, by Henry and Aldyth's Son, is a children's book which relays the author's own fear of the dark, at bedtime when he was younger.  He discovered there are certain rules about monsters that will make bedtime less fearful.  Once these rules are mastered one will be able to sleep knowing how to handle such monsters, bears and tigers.  Adults will enjoy his humor.  The kids will like the twist at the end.

My Book Review:  Monster's Guide to Bedtime has a great introduction to why this book was written.  It then begins with terms that are necessary to understand.  Some are quite funny.  From there, the book goes into the Rules of the various monsters.  Tigers have certain rules they have to obey.  Did you know that?  For instance, Tigers can only live under your bed.  Bears have a different set of rules they need to abide by. Bears only have power in the dark.  Once the lights are turned on, the bears disappear.  And of course, there are random monsters which also have to obey specific rules at night.  Not only that, but random monsters like anything that is your favorite.  Don't worry though.  All rules are spelled right out, and there will be no confusion afterwards.  You just might want to read and re-read this book several times to make sure you don't forget the rules.

Help dispel the fears your child may have about Bedtime Monsters and get your copy of the Monster's Guide to Bedtime for your child.  This book will make a wonderful Christmas gift.

Pros:  This book shed much light on how to deal with various monsters, tigers and bears at night.  Wish this book was around when my kids were little.  Hopefully my grandkids will like this book as much as I did.
Especially loved the ending.

Review: It's been my experience that when taking herbs, one needs to take them for a minimum of 30 days before there is any noticeable difference.  I was given just a 3 day supply.  I didn't think I really noticed any difference at all in taking these, as three days just isn't long enough.  However, after I finished my 3 day supply, I looked back at day 2.  On Day 2, after I had taken the 2nd herbal capsule, I did something that wasn't on my schedule to do until after Thanksgiving...that was washing down my doors, patios and decks outside.  I must say, that I jumped right in and spent at least 5 hours straight cleaning.  This is a tough job, as it is all done by hand, and I'm up and down on a 4 foot stool constantly.  I did not feel the least bit tired when I was through and still had to make dinner.  It was amazing that I actually did have more energy than normal to undergo this undaunting task.  

As far as any of the other benefits that come by taking Immortal Energy, I can't say that I noticed any improvement in any of the other areas it is supposed to help with.  I feel a better test would have been to give this a full 30 day try, not a 3 day try.

I also must note, that the first day I took these capsules, my mood swings were severe and I was extremely irritable, ornery, and fidgety.  I did not notice these same symptoms after day 1.  Could have been a fluke, but nothing really was any different the day I started taking these.

If you're looking for more energy, you may want to give these a try.

Pros:  Did receive more energy on day 2, but didn't realize it until after looking back.  Wasn't exactly filled with more get-up-and-go, just more of a determination to start a tough task and work through it until it was finished.  Something I don't think would have happened otherwise.

Cons:  Should have had a 30 day trial not a 3 day.

I am very impressed with this product.  For me it worked faster than I expected.  My sun spots are finally disappearing and my hands are looking better.  Now I just need to work on those wrinkles.:)  Even my freckles on my face are lighter, something I never thought I would ever get rid of.
