Review:  I do have course ground Kosher Sea Salt that I've often wished I could grind to a finer product.  Unfortunately, without using a hammer for such small amounts, I've just left the salt alone.  The first thing I tried in the new Ozeri Duo Ultra Salt & Pepper Grinder was this salt.

At first I was disappointed at how coarse the salt was.  Then I realized, after reading the instructions, that I could adjust the level of coarseness on the bottom of the grinder, and now I had what I was looking for.

I've also been looking for something that would grind small amount of spices.  A blender just doesn't do it when the seeds sit below the blade.  I tried fennel and anise seeds in this grinder. Both came out adequate for my liking.  Finally something I can use and get great results.

I like the stainless steel look as it matches my other appliances.  I also like the transparent container so I can see just how much is in the grinder.  The top in which you grind the salt, pepper or spices is very ergonomic and fits the palm of my hand just fine.

After trying this out, I went to a restaurant with separate salt and pepper grinders.  I tried each to see how they compared to the Ozeri product.  Believe me, they don't compare at all.  Don't waste time and money on anything else.  If you want the best then get the Ozeri Duo Ultra Salt & Pepper Grinder.  They also make great gifts.

Pros:  Like the transparent container.  Like the adjustable knobs for coarseness.  Like being able to grind my spices.

Cons:  Nothing.

My Rating:  Thumbs UP!!!

Vitamin C Serum with Vitamin E & Hyaluronic Acid

Details:  Joyal Beauty Super Brightening Vitamin C Serum is enriched with Vitamin E, Hyaluronic Acid, and a lot of other great ingredients.  Some of those include Aloe, Witch Hazel, Glycerin, and Jojoba Oil.  After washing and toning your face, apply a small amount of serum to your face morning and night.  Follow up with moisturizer.

This Vitamin C Serum is a powerful concentrated delivery system for the highest form of active, stabilized, bio-available Vitamin C boosting collagen production and increasing elasticity and firmness. It is also enriched with vitamin E, ferulic acid, pure vegan hyaluronic acid and many anti-aging formulas to plump skin cells and restore cells. You will see positive results after 4 weeks of continual use.  Your skin will glow, sun spots will fade, wrinkles will be reduced, your skin will be more moisturized.

Review:  I have tried several different types of Vitamin C Serums.  Some with and without the hyaluronic acid.  I must be allergic to that.  Almost every product I use with hyaluronic acid in it, my face breaks out big time.  Despite that, I do know that the other ingredients in Joyal Beauty's serum are great for skin.  This is a newly launched product on Amazon.

#PROVCS1
This is the first Vitamin C Serum that came with a spray pump, rather than a dropper.  I personally do not like the spray pump.  I can't spray it directly on my face without it going everywhere I don't want it.  I do spray it into my palm and then rub on with my fingers.  I also noticed that this serum is thinner than the other serums I have used, and I just figured it was to get it to go through that pump spray without clogging it up.

Despite those cons, I find I don't like to use this on my face, but applying it to my hands and feet where I have spider veins has been helpful. I have noticed a reduction in the sun spots on my hands. I also don't need to apply lotion as often to my hands.

Pros:  If you prefer a spray pump vs. a dropper this one is for you.  Has other added ingredients that benefit skin.

Cons:  I personally do not like the spray pump.  Don't like how thin the product is, compared to other Vitamin C serums I've tried in the past.

My Rating:  Thumbs Up & Down.  Biggest complaint is the spray pump.

#arganoil
UNi-Argan Oil is fast absorbing and light weight, smooth, and non greasy.  It is cold pressed and unroasted.  Contains Vitamin E and Omega 6.

Review:  I have naturally curly hair which means my hair is also naturally dry and frizzy.  I also color treat my hair which doesn't help.  I've been doing a lot of research lately to find the perfect product that will help my hair become soft, smooth, silky, shiny, and not frizzy.  When I had the opportunity to review UNi-Argan Oil, I was excited.

When using Argan Oil on your hair, make sure your hair is damp.  I washed my hair, towel dried it, then applied the Argan Oil per instructions.  My hair felt really soft the first day.  The second day my hair felt greasy, and by day 3 my hair was dry feeling.  With curly dry and frizzy hair, I don't wash my hair everyday. Needless to say I was very disappointed on how the Argan Oil reacted on my hair.  I did apply per instructions on bottle.  A little goes a long ways.  I have hair down to the middle of my back and used just 4 drops.

On the other hand, I did like how my skin felt by using the Argan oil.  My hands and feet were softer.  I would recommend using this at night, as I felt greasy after using it.  Despite rubbing the oil in my feet very well, I still left little foot prints on my floor. When applying to body, warm up the drops in your hand first.  It spreads and seeps into skin much better this way.

Overall, I was disappointed how the oil reacted to my hair and the greasy feeling I felt after applying to feet and hands.  None-the-less, I do not mind using this as a night time routine for hands and feet, but think I'll just leave it off my hair.

Pros:  Hands and feet were softer after using.

Cons:  Felt greasy and oily after rubbing in hands and feet.  Hair only felt soft the first day.  Was hoping hair would feel soft for 3 days.  Surprised my hair felt greasy the 2nd day and dry the 3rd day after use.

My Rating:  Thumbs Down.

The Sharp Shredda Grinder can be purchased on Amazon.

Review:  I asked the company if this Herb Grinder would grind wheat grass, or fresh herbs.  Would it be better used for dry herbs?  They suggest grinding coffee beans, I wondered how it would hold up for beans or legumes.  Their response is that is better used for dry herbs, and wouldn't be great for beans or legumes. It made me wonder how it could grind coffee beans then.

I've always wished I had a small grinder for herbs.  Sometimes I just need a tablespoon or so ground up.  Do you realize how hard it is to grind up a tablespoon of dry herbs in a food processor or blender when they don't even reach the blades?  This was a great opportunity for me to give this a try.

The first item I tried grinding was dried fennel seeds.  The Sharp Shredda Grinder is not the product for dry herbs, spices, or seeds.  The holes are way too big, and the seeds fall right through.  The next thing I tried was a cinnamon stick.  Again, this did not turn out well.  The stick ground up into nice chunks, but I was hoping for more of a powder.

Then I thought I would try some fresh herbs.  I decided to grind fresh blueberry and raspberry leaves for a nice anti-aging herbal tea.  Now, the Sharp Shredda Grinder was working properly.  So, if  you have fresh herbs you want to grind up as a garnish for your dishes, this would be perfect.  If you want a lot of garnished herbs, then get something else.  This is perfect for a couple of tablespoons worth.

The pictures make this grinder look like it is about a cup size, but it is really a quarter cup size, so doesn't do a lot at once.

TIPS & TRICKS offered by Sharp Shredda :

  1. Use the Sharp Shredda for any herbs you wish. Our Chunky Teeth Design was crafted to Shred even the toughest herbs.
  2. To collect more pollen place a nickel on top of the screen after your herbs have been ground. This will push heaps more of the good stuff through.
  3. To help prevent build up, place the herbs in the smaller half of the grinder when shredding. This keeps your grinder working to its best ability.
Pros:  Does a nice job with grinding/shredding fresh herbs in small amounts.

Cons:  Does not grind up dried herbs and spices like I was led to believe.  A lot smaller than I anticipated.

My Rating:  Mostly a thumbs down as I would have preferred something that would do both dry and fresh herbs and spices as well as legumes especially if they advertise grinding coffee beans.
